
Tamil director Karthik Subbaraj has roped in British actor James Cosmo, best known for essaying Lord Commander Jeor Mormont in Game of Thrones, for his next film. The yet untitled action thriller features Dhanush in the lead role.
Subbaraj took to Twitter to welcome Cosmo on board. He wrote: “Welcome on board @MrJamesCosmo sir!! Very happy, honoured and excited to work with an actor who starred in legendary creations like #Braveheart #Troy #GameOfThrones and many more (sic)”. Cosmo will reportedly play the antagonist in the film.

According to reports, Subbaraj also tried to get Al Pacino and Robert De Niro on board, but it did not work out. Subbaraj, who directed the Rajinikanth-hit Petta recently had said it is a gangster film set in New York, and so he wanted faces from Hollywood to be part of it.
